Do I need my own hosting?
Nope! All our Coursair plans include secure hosting on your own subdomain. We’ll even provide you with your own link to easily share and start promoting your courses.
What technical skills do I need to set up a course?
None! All you need to worry about is your own field of expertise, and let us handle the tech-side of things. You send us your individual lessons or modules (in PDFs, videos, PowerPoints or however you would like to present it), then we’ll handle uploading everything to the site and making sure everything looks great!
Do I need to have my content done before I start?
Yes, you do. Coursair is really designed for people who have content but don’t know what the next step would be to monetize it or get it online. At some future date, perhaps, we may offer a service to help people develop courses.
Is my content safe? Are people going to steal it?
We use the same standards of security for our (and your) content that is used by Amazon and other Fortune 500 companies. Without getting too techy, it would be really, really hard to steal your content.
So I've got my content, what's next? How do I get it to you?
Great! There are several ways to get us your content. Typically we use Dropbox or Google Drive, but if you’re local to Indianapolis, we’d love to meet in person.
It’s also helpful to have a “Table of Contents” to let us know how many modules you have and how many lessons are in each one.
What info do I need to provide you to get started?
We’ll need all the content for your courses (see above). Also, it’s really helpful to have a digital file containing your logo files and branding guidelines. If you don’t have this, a good place to start is just to send us a link to your website and any info on fonts and colors you like.
When can we go live?
Because of the customization involved in each Coursair install, it takes 7-14 days. We build Coursair in week 1 use the 2nd week to make sure everything looks great on your end before we go live.
What happens after we launch?
After the launch, we’re always around to troubleshoot. That’s all – as simple as that. We’re just an email or phone call away.
So I'm selling my course. How do I get paid? And how often?
You get paid on the 7th of the month following your sales. For instance, for all sales during July, you get a check sent out on August 7th along with a breakdown of every transaction through your site. (Note: Other companies pay 30 days after the end of the month, so in this example, they’d pay you at the end of August or beginning of September.)
